  7. CSR in DNV DNV’s Action Plan for 2003-2005 identifies four main areas where DNV should focus its CSR efforts: • Governance and business ethics • Communication and transparency • Community involvement and international collaboration • Health, Safety and Environment

  8. Objective: DNV’s governance model will explicitly address business ethics and will guide our employees in daily operations on CSR issues. Actions: Code of Ethics Global Compact CSR risks associated with country, sector and clients Anti-corruption guidelines Diversity Governance and business ethics

  9. Objective: To meet stakeholders increasing demands for transparency through reporting, dialogues and other communication strategies. Actions: Triple-bottom-line reporting Ethical Safety-valve options Stakeholder dialogues CSR training and awareness raising Communication and transparency

  10. Objective: To strengthen DNV’s objective and to create pride and enthusiasm among employees through projects and partnerships in local communities and with international organisations. Actions: Local community involvement projects Long term partnership with an international humanitarian organisation Community involvement & partnerships

  11. Objective: Stimulate the maintenance and further development of a strong SHE culture in the DNV organisation. Actions: Encourage continued focus on SHE within DNV as stated in the DNV strategic plan for 2002-2006. Safety, Health and Environment
