  2. Agenda • Purpose and New Features • Overview of Changes using Filezilla • Quick Demo, Switchover Logistics and Contact Info

Purpose • The current method for exchanging data with the State is “hackable” • The data is in a human readable format throughout the transmission • The new method encrypts the data throughout the transmission • Nearly 20% of the exchanges have already been switched to the new “secure” methodology

  4. New Fields and Data Modifications • Two new “optional” fields have been added to the end of the transmission: • Client date of birth • Prior Authorization Number • If included, birth date must be a valid date in the format mm/dd/yyyy and can’t be a future date or a date older than 01/01/1900 • PA number is not currently validated • Please include MHBG designation within the “service type” field when served with MH Block Grant Funds • Here is some sample data • MHBG Designation – MH1-11-111|3|123-45-6789|Testman|Bob|I|Y|Y|Community Integration - MHBG|1203|20.66 |01/12/2012|01/12/2012|4|0|0|Y • Birth date only – MH1-11-111|3|123-45-6789|Testman|Bob|I|Y|Y|MEDICATION SERVICES|1507|20.66 |01/12/2012|01/12/2012|4|0|0|Y|12/31/1990 • PA only – MH1-11-111|3|123-45-6789|Testman|Bob|I|Y|Y|DLS|1205|20.66 |01/12/2012|01/12/2012|4|0|0|Y||1234567 (notice the extra bar to skip the birth date) • Both new fields and MHBG – MH1-11-111|3|123-45-6789|Testman|Bob|I|Y|Y|DLS - MHBG|1203|20.66 |01/12/2012|01/12/2012|4|0|0|Y|12/31/1990|1234567 (notice the extra bar to skip the birth date)

  6. New File Directory Structure Drop your files in the TESTAGREISFileSubmissions folder This folder will start with TEST during testing. The word TEST will be removed when you are switched to production. Folder for data returned from State

  7. Demo, switchover logistics and contact info • Demo • Testing your connection • Create a test file or use one of your production files. Test file must be in same format as a production file. • Sign-on to new site. • Drop test file in TESTAGREISFileSubmissions folder • You should get 2 e-mails – one that says we received your file and one that says that the test was completed successfully • Once testing is completed, we can switch you to the production environment that same day.
