SQL, WEB and FTP Server Status • SQL Server was compromised in February by a hacker, who managed to remove operating system files making it impossible to reboot the server. • No data were lost this time but we should make sure in the future that copies of the data tables are kept at least one more place • The server was put back on-line Friday April 4, 2003 • Access to web and ftp services remain unchanged but another level of authentication will be required for direct access to the sql server and web authoring.
