  2. ABOUT THE ET PROGRAMME • The English TeachingProgramme was founded by The Polish-American Freedom Foundation in 2000. Since September 2002 its home operator is Nidzicka Fundacja Rozwoju NIDA. • The Programme offer is addressed tothe English language teachers and their students in Poland. It offers different forms of support for the English language teachers and their students such as the weekend teacher trainings, the annual meetings of EL teachers. It also offers funds for the most interesting school projects within the framework of a grant competition called SMALL GRANTS and the English language summer camps for some active students taking part in the projects. • TEACHING ENGLISH TEACHERS aims to develop the teachers’ skills and helps to build their confidence as they learn about new teaching methods and get new ideas how to motivate students and promote English language learning.

GOALS ET PROGRAMME aims to: • Support activities that promote creative English language teaching and learning; • Develop the professional skills of English language teachers working in small localities; • Promote the equal access of children to educational opportunities; • Improve the mobility of English language teachers in Poland;

  5. ATTHE LASTET MARKET The 11th all-Poland meeting of English teachers These educational meetings have been organized for eleven years now. They give the teachers an opportunity to improve their teaching skills in English teaching methodology. Moreover, they build integration and cooperation between the teachers from small localities. During the ET Markets the teachers participate in different workshops and lectures conducted by professional teaching staff. They last for 3 days.

  7. ON ENGLISH SUMMER CAMPS English language camps are exceptional. Reasons? • enthusiastic native speaker teachers for years • beautiful scenery of wild nature that stimulates creativity in children • good accommodation standards • recreation centre located on the spot • a lot of fun

  8. ON THE CAMP LEARNING ENGLISH IS FUN The camps take place in lovely places

  9. MEETINGS IN GROUPS There were 85 children on one of those English language camps in Załęcze Wielkie in 2013. The children were divided into smaller groups when needed. There was at least one native speaker teacher fom the USA and one Polish teacher of English with each group.

  10. LEARNING AND MAKING NEW THINGS IS EASYThe children were learning how to make traditional bread. Making and baking bread was on of the extra activities.
