What are important court cases that have been decided by the Supreme Court? Activity: Supreme Court case activity introduced

Supreme Court : • The Court consists of a chief justice and eight associate justices who are nominated by the President and confirmed by the Senate. • Once appointed, justices have life tenure unless they resign, retire, take senior status, or are removed after impeachment (though none has ever been removed). • the Supreme Court is the final interpreter of federal constitutional law

  4. Supreme Court • CNN: Inside the Supreme Court • Questions to answer: • 1) Describe the look of the Supreme court/ design of the court • 2) Why do you believe there are few images inside the Supreme Court? • 3) What are some of the “traditions” and WHY would they keep these traditions?
