Summary : Bud , lives in a orphanage in Flint, Michigan .Times may be tough but ten year old Bud Caldwell has a few things going for him.1.He has his own suitcase filled with his own secret things.2.He’s the author for Bud Caldwell’s Rules and Things for having a fun life and making a better liar out of your self.3.His mother never told him who his father is but she left him a clue.

  3. My personal opinion on Bud is he is very smart and very …..funny. also he meets a girl named Deza she is a real sweetheart and they end up having a bit of summer romance that is really cute . I would recommend this book to 4th and 5th grades with a bit of humor in them.
