  5. What real world mutations have you heard of or seen, perhaps from the news? • Or what about fictional examples of mutations you’ve seen in movies?

  7. Your final project: • GOAL: To combine a person (full body, partial, face – your choice) with another object of your choice. Make it unusual using Photoshop. • You can distort it by adding other body parts, animals, foods, machines, nature… anything! • Examples from history: minotaur, mermaid, sphinx • Just make sure you are creating something new and unique!

If you are strange enough to imagine what would a human-dog hybrid would look like, then you are looking at one. • These old creepy Human-Dog hybrid creatures above were a sculpture created by an Australian artist named Patricia Piccinini. The sculpture is entitled “The Young Family” which is just a part of a larger sculpture collection called “We Are Family”. • The sculpture, characterized by being a half-human and half-dog is very strange, creepy and even disturbing.
