  4. Path to Leadership • Develop a roadmap/path to leadership • Develop an Information Sheet on that Pathway to Board Leadership and Reach Out. • Conduct More deliberate outreach • Present a Pathway Panel at Leadership Summits • Present at CMLDP Programs • National List of Such “Volunteers”

  5. Board Candidate Identification – All Levels • Past President(s) Chapter Outreach • EAC Leadership Development Role • CMLDP • Chapters/Students at Universities • Maintain and Nurture List • High Potentials • Successful Volunteers

Candidate Criteria • Policy 3-7, N&E Committee Charter • Reflects the needs of the Association today and in the future • Representative of the membership population (including age, gender, race, government, industry, and geographic location) • Policy 5-12, National Election Policy • Demonstrated experience in the profession • Contributions to the Association; e.g., through elected service at the chapter or national level; • Experience or demonstrated leadership at seniorlevels of industry, government, or academia; • Influence within the contracting and acquisition career fields • Credentials, competencies and/or experience— • Benefit to the operations and strategic objectives
