  1. Ligustrumjaponicum Türkçe ismi: Kurtbağrı Vatanı: Japonya ve Kore’dir. Bitki tipi: Herdem yeşil çalı yada ağaçcıktır. Sürgün: Genç sürgünleri ince, tüysüz, bol lentisellidir.

  2. Yaprak: Geniş yumurta biçimindeki yaprakları 4-10 cm. boyundadır. Uçları kütçe, birdenbire sivrilmekte yada sivridir. Çiçek: Beyaz çiçeklere sahiptir. Siyah meyveleri vardır. Dayanıklılık: Soğuk iklim şartlarına dayanıklıdır.

  3. Işık isteği: Işık bitkisidir. Bitki boyu: 2.5-3 m boy yapar. Toprak isteği: Kurak ve kumlu toprakta iyi yetişir. Neme duyarlı değildir. • Çit olarak kullanılır. Makasa gelir.
