NORTRAIN history Illustration:StatoilHydro 1976 – established North Sea Drilltrainer AS, the first Norwegian drilling school 1999 – bought Transocean Training Centre in Norway 2000 – changed name to NOSEFO 2005 – all drilling technology activities consolidated and formed into the new training company Norwegian Drilling Academy – NORTRAIN 2008 – activities outside Norway together with Caledonia Training & Consultancy Ltd

  3. Key facts and activity NDA - 1 • More then 30 years of experience in drilling training • Technical School with a total of 300 students – 3 year study • > 100 new students yearly on N. Technical School • > 200 new students yearly on Basic Drilling course – 4 month • We are training drilling-, well service-, and engineering personnel • More than 20 core instructors, full time or part time – offshore schedule, and petroleum engineers with rigsite oilfield experience • Classes in more than 50 different subjects
