DIVERSITY Prejudice: A preconceived judgment or opinion, formed without grounds or sufficient knowledge Common Causes of Prejudice People experience the world through the lens of their own particular identity When people get hurt, they may dislike or blame anyone who seems similar to the person who hurt them Jealousy and fear of personal failure can lead a person to want to put others down
