The Problem(Opportunity) • Hemorrhagic Septicemia (HS) is a dangerous diseases • It is very fast spreading and has a high mortality rate so it is hard to control. • It is widely spread all over the country so we must treat it seriously as the mortality rate due to this diseases is 85-95%. • This project will also give us a chance to create awareness in the small holders that they must take serious steps for the medical treatment of their animals.

  3. Vision and Mission • By reducing the HS cases we can reduce the mortality rate of the animals. • Can get rid of financial and productive losses. • Better and increased supply of milk and meat. • Helping the small holders which are long ignored.

  4. Theory of Change • The project will help the small holders by vaccinating their animals at low price than that of market. • Get rid of quacks and untrained livestock assistants working in the filed. • Educate the small holders and tell them about some common diseases and precautionary measures. • This will bring an increase in animal productivity through farmer’s awareness.

  5. The Solution • Vaccination is the main service to be provided at farmer’s doorstep. • Farmer’s education for the prevention and cure of the HS and other diseases. • Key activities include vaccination at reduce cost and farmer’s education cum training at farmer’s doorstep. • Some private veterinarian and technicians and quacks present in villages are already doing this work • Our motto is to facilitate the small holder at low cost than the quacks and improperly trained technicians.

  6. Social Impact • Helping the small holders. • Prosperous village society. • Enhanced and ensured income sources. • Educated farmers. • Awareness about animal diseases. • Reduced migration from villages to the cities as farmers will earn more from their animals.

Financial Summary • Cost per dosage per animal 12 PKR • Transportation Charges(Will depend on the number of animals present in the specified area and distance) • A bike for field work. • Miscellaneous (Repairing, Fuel Charges, Syringes, Gloves, Diagnosis Purpose etc.) • All sum approx 74000 PKR • The fee collected from farmers will be reused for the purchase of vaccines and medicines for future animal treatment .
