  2. WHAT IS CYBER BULLING? • Cyber bullying is bullying on the internet.

  3. Why do they start cyber bullying? • Some people just may feel that in order to make themselves feel happy they have to put down other people. • Some have been bullied in the past. • Some do it to fit in with the crowd.

  4. How can you stop cyber bullying? • Don’t gossip, and/or instigate • Talking to someone if you are, so someone can prevent it from happening again

  5. How do you know if your being cyber bullied? • if your getting harassed on the internet. • Offensive threats on the internet ex. on facebook,text messages • Threat start getting sent to your emails by the bully.

  6. Real cases of cyber bullying!!! • (April 14, 2010)Ashley Rogers, 15, of Kernersville, N.C., hangs herself in her bedroom. Though she was clinically depressed, her parents believed harassment by fellow students via text messages and taunts at school fueled her depression. • (Jan. 14, 2010)Phoebe Prince, 15, hangs herself after being harassed mostly in school, but also on Facebook and through other electronic forms. The teen had just arrived in South Hadley, Mass. from Ireland months earlier to begin ninth grade. On March 29, Northwestern District Attorney Elizabeth Scheibel indicted six students on charges that included statutory rape. The town's school committee approved a 62-page anti-bullying policy June 30.
