SHARE WITH YOUR PARTNER THE BEST PARTS OF YOUR SUMMER HOLIDAY • HOW MANY YEARS YOU HAVE BEEN AT AISD AND WHERE YOU ATTENDED SCHOOL BEFORE HERE • WHAT YOU ARE REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO AT SCHOOL THIS YEAR • PARTNERS REMEMBER THIS INFORMATION BECAUSE YOU WILL BE SHARING YOUR PARTNERS INFORMATION WITH OTHER STUDENTS

CREATING CLASS AGREEMENT/NORMS • IN GROUPS OF 3 BRAIN STORM WHAT YOU NEED IN ORDER TO SUCCEED, WHAT YOU NEED FROM YOUR PEERS IN THE CLASS, FROM THE TEACHER, what you can do and contribute… • RECORD YOUR IDEAS ON CHART PAPER • EXAMPLES: RESPECT FROM OTHERS/NO NAME CALLING OR TEASING • NO TALKING OVER OTHERS WHILE YOU ARE TALKING OR SHARING…

  5. Group Sharing • As a group we will share our ideas and make agreements. • Each group will share one idea at a time as we go around the class. • Once all groups have shared and we agree to the norms we will write up our agreement and post it on the class wall.

  6. CREATE A WORDAL • FROM THE LIST AGREED TO AND CREATED BY THE CLASS DESIGN YOUR OWN WORDAL
