  15. Specific Measurable Objective Findings:

  16. Overall Success • All grade levels increasedMoY to the EoY in all areas! • Terra Nova scores rose from SY 11-12 to SY 12-13 in 9th Language and 10th Math. • Practices and strategies that helped students improve include SAC Seminars, school-wide formative assessment, academic tutoring, monitoring D/F list, differentiated instruction, FLIP strategy for Math, DOL, online math instant feedback, SMART Response System.

  17. Overall Areas of Need • No grade levels decreasedBoY to the EoY. • On the PSAT Mathematics subtest, we have yet to make our goal over the past four years. The same can be said of the Writing subtest (although the scores are higher). • What is lacking in practices and is preventing our children from excelling includes additional Terra Nova interventions, revisiting basic math skills, use of standardized language across the curriculum so students know the goals and strategies and can articulate them, and focusing on the 9th grade transition to high school through 9th grade panels.

  18. Action to take • Terra Nova Interventions • SAC Seminar • 9th Grade panels • Standardized use of language across the curriculum so students know the goals and strategies and can articulate them. • IMPORTANT: Whatever action steps you develop should be entered into ASSIST as Strategies or Activities

  19. When Completed • Make sure most the recent Excel data collection workbook and this Powerpoint are saved to your common drive folder: !Accreditation\AdvancEd Standards\SY 12-13\5. Results for CI\Assessment Data • Email Joe Baltrus when uploaded
