  2. Habitat Penguins live in Antarctic, extremely cold places. Other penguins live further north. But all penguins live in the southern Hemisphere.

  3. Adaptation # 1 Penguins are flightless birds, but are excellent swimmers. This helps them to survive because they can swim away from predators and helps them catch prey .

  4. Adaptation # 3 Penguins also have thick skin and lots of fat { blubber}.This helps them stay warm during cold seasons.

  5. Adaptation # 4 Penguins tightly packed feathers over lap to provide waterproofing and warmth. This helps them get dry faster.

  6. Extra information Water temperatures never rise above freezing. Also, penguins have to keep high body temperatures to remain active. Penguins live in a hard place to live in, so they have a lot of adaptations.
