  1. How to Save My Data If Stuck into Recovery Mode As you have learned from the last article, recovery mode is commonly used to fix upgrade or restore problems. However, some users reported that when they attempted to fix problems with recovery mode, they got a new problem: the iOS device was stuck into recovery mode. So this article will be about how to get your iOS device out of recovery mode. Furthermore, we'll cover the tips to save data when device is stuck in recovery mode. Part 1: How to Get Out of Recovery Mode There are two ways to exit recovery mode when your iPhone/iPad/iPod gets stuck: get rid of the recovery mode manually or via iTunes. 1. Get Out of Recovery Mode Manually Step 1. Press and hold the "Home" and "Power" button at the same time until the device shuts off completely. Step 2. Release the "Power" button but keep holding the "Home" button for about 10 seconds. Step 3. Release the "Home" and then press the "Power" button to restart your iOS device.

  2. Your device should be back to normal now. You can then set up the device. 2. Get Out of Recovery Mode via iTunes Step 1. Connect your iPhone to the computer via lightning cable. Step 2. Then open iTunes. After iTunes detects your iPhone, you'll see the message saying that your iPhone is in recovery mode and you need to restore it. Click "OK"to restore it. Step 3. iTunes will then begin to restore your device to factory state. You can get back the data if you have a backup. If you don't get the message saying your device is in recovery mode, please power off your iPhone by pressing the "Power"button until the screen becomes dark. Then press the "Home"button. When the phone is on, keep pressing the "Home"button until the message pops up in iTunes. Part 2: How to Save Data If Device Stuck at Recovery Mode After exiting the recovery mode, all contents in your device are wiped out.
