VARÓN DE 56 AÑOS… • …Que se queja de vértigo (como giro de objetos) de 4 horas de duración, acompañado de náuseas y vómitos, pérdida auditiva por el oído izquierdo y un acúfeno persistente como si estuviera escuchando una caracola de mar. A la exploración la prueba de Rinne es positiva en el oído izquierdo y la de Weber se lateraliza a la derecha. Es la segunda vez que sufre un episodio así. El anterior duró unas 8 horas y desapareció por completo. • Mira el resultado de la audiometría y responde unas preguntillas surtidas sobre ello:

  8. MUJER DE 61 AÑOS… • Que fuma desde los 20 y es bebedora moderada de alcohol. Presenta adenopatías laterocervicales bilaterales de consistencia dura a nivel de la cadena yugular media. Como único síntoma destacable adicional nota una sensación incómoda como de “picor” en la garganta. • Responde a lo siguiente:
