  4. HOUSEKEEPING ITEMS • DROP OFF TIME: 8:45 • When dropping students off, please be sure to pull up as close as you can to the curb. • PICK UP TIME: 3:35 • Please try to vacate the lobby as soon as you can to allow our buses ample space to maneuver through the parking lot.

  5. Progress Books • New Standards Based Report Cards • No grades • Student’s progress will be based on a rating scale of 1-4, with 4 being above grade level. We are shooting towards a 3 for all students which is mastery of grade level standards • Teacher’s have received extensive training on the new standards based report Card system

UPCOMING TESTING DATES • DIBELS (K-4): September 8th through 11th • 4 Sight (3-4): September 8th through 11th • AIMSweb: AIMSweb is a set of standardized early numeracy and mathematical computation assessments that will be used in Grades K-4.Benchmark Assessment given in September, January, and May. • STANFORD TESTS: • Week of October 13th-16th

  9. READING COUNTS • Promote independent reading at home • Set aside 15 minutes for family reading • Enhances vocabulary development • Improves comprehension

  10. INTERVENTION TIME • Student will be flexibly grouped according to readiness (based on pre-assessment). • Each teacher will be responsible for a different readiness level. • Students will move between other grade level teachers. • More information to come.
