  3. THE ORIGIN OF THE NAME The name Halloween is probably a shortened form of ‘’All Hallows’ Eve’’ – Eve of All Saints.

  6. WHERE? Halloween is one of the most popular festivals in American culture. It isn’t the official holiday but it is very pompously celebrated in the USA, Canada, Ireland and Great Britain. Halloween is known and celebrated all other the world .

  7. The following traditions are commonly associated with Halloween: Scary Farm, Trick or Treat, Apple Bobbing or dressing up. Houses are decorated with pumpkins or spider webs and spiders. HOW? Apple Bobbing– This is a game in which you get an apple floating on water. You must use your teeth. Scary Farm– Huge parties are held outdoor. Trick Or Treat– Is the most popular fun at Halloween. Children go with bags of treats around the area and visit residents. When a bad neighbour doesn`t give any sweets, children play a trick to him. Costumes– The most popular Halloween custom. People dress up as monsters, witches, skeletons or even politicians.

  8. IN POLAND Halloween isn't our tradition but it's becoming more and more popular in Poland.
