  3. “O People ! "Indeed ahead of you is the blessed month of Allah. A month of blessing, mercy and forgiveness. It is the month which invites you to be the guests of Allah and invites you to be one of those near to Him. So, ask Allah, your Lord; to give you a sound body and an enlightened heart so you may be able to fast and recite his book, for only he is unhappy who is devoid of Allah’s forgiveness during this great month. Repent to Allah for your sins and raise your hands in dua during these times, for they are the best of times and Allah looks towards his creatures with kindness, replying to them during the hours and granting their needs if he is asked...

  4. "O People! Indeed your souls are dependant on your deeds, free it with Istighfar (repentance) lighten its loads by long prostrations; and know that Allah swears by his might: That there is no punishment for the one who prays and prostrates and he shall have no fear of the fire on the day when man stands before the Lord of the worlds.

  5. "Who so ever performs a recommended prayer in this month Allah will keep the fire of Hell away from him... "Whoever performs an obligator prayer Allah will reward him with seventy prayers [worth] in this month."And who so ever prays a lot during this month will have his load lightened on the day of measure. "O People! Indeed during this month the doors of heaven are open, therefore ask Allah not to close them for you; The doors of hell are closed, so ask Allah to keep them closed for you. During this month Shaytan (Saten) is imprisoned so ask your Lord not to let him have power over you."

  6. " Verily! We have sent it (this Qur'aan) down in the Night of Decree (Lailatul-Qadr). And what will make you know what the Night of Decree is? The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months. Therein descend the angels and the Rooh (i.e. Gabriel) by Allaah's Permission with all Decrees, Peace! until the appearance of dawn." (Al-Qadr 97: 1-5)

  7. " We sent it (this Qur'aan) down on a blessed Night. Verily, We are ever warning (mankind of Our Torment). Therein (that Night) is decreed every matter of ordainment. Amran (i.e. a command or this Qur'aan or His Decree of every matter) from Us. Verily, We are ever sending (the Messenger). (As) a Mercy from your Lord. Verily! He is the All-Hearer, ." (Ad-Dukhaan 44: 3-6)

  8. "And if anyone believes in Allah, (Allah) guides his heart (aright)" (64:11)

  9. "In this, behold, there is in deed a reminder for everyone whose heart is wide-awake-that is (everyone who) lends ear with a conscious mind." (50:37).

  10. "Light upon light! God guides unto His light him that wills (to be guided): and (to this end) God propounds parables unto men, since God (alone) has full knowledge of all things." (24:35)

  11. GAINING TAQWAA • SEEKING NEARNESS TO ALLAH • AQUIRING PATIENCE • CULTIVATING GOOD MANNERS • SENSING MUSLIM UNITY

  12. Let us seek abundance rewards from our Creator by performing extra actions in these last few days of the noble month of Ramadhan as it could be our last...
