  3. Assessment • The Hudson Valley is home to over 2 million people (2,261,204. 2005 census estimate) • 452,930 are women of childbearing age, 15-44 years. • The region is made up of seven Counties • Westchester County has the largest population while Orange County is the fastest growing.
