  6. Area of Event Area A = 4300 Sq m Area B = 10320 Sq m Area C = 2730 Sq m Area D = 350 Sq m Total Area Less Stage and Back Stage = 15,000 Square metres

  7. Event Capacity • If the event capacity was set at 15,000 people it would represent a quite comfortable 1 person per square metre. • At a capacity of 45,000 it represents a not wholly claustrophobic 3 people per square metre.

  8. Site Evacuation • Massive thunder storm • Credible bomb threat • How do 20,000 people leave the site safely and quickly?

  9. Site Evacuation • The yellow line represents the only means of egress – 25 exit turnstiles. • 20 people per minute can leave using the turnstiles. • 500 people per minute in total • 20 minutes to clear the site Is that too long?!!!
