Biomass Harvesting System • A harvesting system with the primary purpose of supplying woody “feedstock” for energy use. • Smaller version of conventional harvesting systems. • Adaptable for use in: • Southern Pine thinnings • Appalachian hardwood thinnings/TSI • Target tree diameters between 3 and 9 inches • Low capital cost
