  1. Customized Barber Capes! There are different kinds of hair capes available that vary according to the treatments carried out and the kind of services you plan to offer your clients. Usually designed with tightly woven synthetic materials, these capes are manufactured using fabrics like seersucker nylon or polyester-nylon blends. The important thing to be mindful of is that the synthetic materials used should preferably be water resistant in addition to being stain resistant. You should also ensure that they are easy to wash and dry, thereby making maintenance a lot less tedious in the long run. While there are a variety of fabrics available, some are better than others because they air-dry easily and drastically reduce the amount of effort that goes into looking after them. Since they can be dried using conventional methods, it certainly saves you a lot of money on your energy consumption. Several hairdressers and hair stylists prefer using customized barber capes since it allows them more control over the kind of design and type of fabric that is used during manufacture. Fabrics used to design these kinds of capes are generally slick with a smooth texture. They are usually designed to have a shiny finish, which

These are mainly used because of their better capacity to absorb moisture. These are generally used for dry styling since they help prevent the formation of large pools of water under the barber chair. The downside of using this type of fabric is that it can cause hair to get stuck together on the cape resulting in that “prickly” feeling. The capes you design should generally be long enough to reach past your client’s elbows and knees when they sit in the barber chair. There are several aspects of chemical capes you should keep in mind when designing your own though. The most fundamental one is the use of waterproof fabrics. This is extremely important since it prevents your customers’ clothes from getting wet during the entire process of washing hair and then cutting or styling it. There are separate waterproof plastic capes that are used when shampooing or carrying out chemical treatments for hair coloring. These help prevent clothes from staining and bleaching by serving as a protective layer against moisture and chemicals. Having adjustable neck closures is another efficient way of delivering great customer experience. This feature allows capes to be used for clients of all sizes and prevents falling hair from sticking to your client’s clothing without being too tight around the neck.
