For Science Students only Different from University-wide exchange programmes Science Student Exchange Programme (SSEP) is tailored for science students 2 types of programmes in the SSEP: Science Programme Science and Engineering Programme Exchange destinations all around the world Invaluable opportunities for making connections for research, internship, mentorship, and etc.

Summer Exchange Programme (SEP) Ideal for students who may be unable to participate in overseas exchange during term-time due to curriculum requirements and structure Undergraduate students will undertake credit-bearing courses, and may have the opportunity to take part in social and cultural activities organized by the summer programme of the host institution Duration: June – August, lasting between 4 – 6 weeks Fees: students will pay programme fee and accommodation fees to the host institution; tuition fee and application fees will be waived Application: use the same outgoing exchange application as the term-time exchange programmes (make the intended SEP one of your ten choices in the application) Participating host institutions to be announced on OAL website New!

Credit Transfer Academic credits earned during your studies abroad may be transferred back to CUHK Requests will be evaluated case-by-case students need to consult with your exchange advisor in your programme/department/school before you go abroad Preliminary Assessment on Course and Unit Exemption (PACU form)

  22. Scholarships / Financial Aid Students may approach the following units for more information about applying for scholarships, awards, grants, and other financial aid: Office of Academic Links (OAL) Office of Admissions and Financial Aid (OAFA)

  23. Application Students must submit their application online at the OAL website Application opens on 17 October, 2011 at 3p.m.! **DEADLINE: 26 October, 2011 at 3p.m.** Remember to provide the necessary supporting documents and/or test scores! Consult the Soft Skills Mentor e-Platform!
