  • Disease that affects and causes the loss of memory, thinking, and behavior.

  • It is a buildup of protein on the brain

    • Either inside the nerve cell

    • Or on the nerve cell

  • More likely to have it if it runs in your family

  • Classified as a form of Dementia, Amnesia, and other Cognitive Disorders.
