  1. Press Release: Canada's Restoration Services Canada’s Restoration Services: How to Best Deal with a Water Damage We are excited to announce that our live TV segment was aired on Canadian morning news and entertainment show Breakfast Television, on March 15, 2019. Our general manager in Toronto, Roberto Lamas, was invited on the show to discuss flood damage, flood restoration and useful tips on mitigating losses in your commercial and residential property. We used this platform to educate consumers on how to best deal with a water damage, why an urgent response is required and most importantly, how Canada’s Restoration Services can help by providing immediate restoration services for all emergency and non-emergency water damages. As the weather is getting warmer and with the occasional rains, basement flooding is a common occurrence in Canadian households. Basements can flood due to other reasons, including burst pipes, frozen pipes or sewer backups. Basement flooding can be a frustrating situation and must be dealt with immediately. We are a team of experts who arrive to your property within 45 minutes and begin the restoration process. Entering a flooded basement is not safe and can lead to a very hazardous situation, considering there is a flood of standing water. There is a possibility of electric shock, as an electric socket or wiring could be immersed in the water. We advise not to enter the basement, to avoid the risk of an electric shock. The aftermath of a flood can cause destructive damages to your property. To make matters worse, mold begins to grow 24-48 hours after a water damage has occurred, if the damage was not properly cleaned. If the flood is a result of a sewer back up, the damages must be cleaned as quickly and thoroughly as possible because sewer water is highly contaminated and dangerous. Flooding causes hydraulic pressure against your foundation, floors and walls. It affects the foundation and leads to cracks in floors and walls. We provide water and flood damage services in Toronto, Edmonton, Ottawa and Montreal. At Canada’s Restoration Services, we are a team of IICRC certified technicians, equipped with state-of-the- art equipment and advanced technology to help quickly and effectively remediate your property. Canada’s Restoration Services also works with your insurance company. We directly bill your insurance and will assist during the entire process!
