Recommendations to the New Administration Economy U.S. government should work to create opportunities for our current workforce and make science and education a national priority to ensure a strong future workforce Administration and Congress should work to create a more favorable business environment for the U.S. aerospace industry

Recommendations to the New Administration Exploration U.S. Space Exploration Policy and Constellation be treated as national priorities with the funding and support to keep them on the current schedule and minimize the gap International Space Station be fully utilized as a national laboratory NASA science should receive adequate funding necessary to provide a wide suite of missions and research

Recommendations to the New Administration Observing the Earth Government should immediately address existing and growing gaps in climate measurements and weather satellite coverage Administration should establish, fund, and implement a U.S. Earth Observation architecture as a national priority

Recommendations to the New Administration National Security Space Balanced and stable funding for current national security space systems while ensuring continued R&D and deployment Support modernization of our aging national security space infrastructure in order to maintain effective systems Space protection and space situational awareness programs are a national priority and be guided by a comprehensive strategy Develop a More Responsive Space Infrastructure Review of critical space technologies: which should be under the State Department ITAR process and which are commercial and could be controlled under the Commerce Department
