Growth Management Requirements • OFM forecasts 20 year county population growth - every 10 yearsNext forecast due in February 2002 • GMA requires forecasts to be accommodated in Comp Plans • King Co. CPPs establish housing targets for each jurisdiction • CPP targets must be revised to accommodate new forecasts • CPPs also establish employment targets - also need to be revised • Local comprehensive plans must accommodate new targets
