  10. My School20222王子晏 • I study in Fusing Junior High School. It is a large one. There are 91 classes in the school. Most teachers work hard. The students here are lucky. • In February, 1975, the school was established. The principals who had worked here actively developed the school and beautified the campus. This school has a gym, a library, a field, a swimming pool, a kitchen, 2 snack bars, some sports courts, 7 buildings, and some practical facilities. Now the principal, Mr. Wu, develops the art characteristic of the school. He encourages teachers to take good care of the students, makes a big push for e-learning education, and expects the students can be educated in the situation of different foreign languages. • My school has 86 ordinary classes, 3 poor-intelligence classes, and 2 bad-eyesight classes in the day and a night school. Some craft lessons are also provided for students to learn hairdressing, computer engineering, or car-fixing. In the gym, the school often holds all kinds of activities, speeches, and meetings. In the library, the Director of Academic Affairs Office, Mr. Wu, lets every class have a bookcase with 50 books and every month each class can exchange the bookcase. This way, the principal inspires students to develop reading hobbies.

  11. During winter vacation, the school gives science camps for elementary school students in the neighborhood to attend. In the semesters, some intelligent students have super courses to take. The Director of Counseling Office, Mr. Wang, founds a donation system for students to practice charity. In the kitchen, we are thankful many cooks make nutritious lunch for us. • The campus is big and beautiful. In the school are a lot of different trees and flowers. We have so many plants to admire. We are also proud to watch so many animals living here. Our adorable animals include butterflies, bees, birds, frogs, and even squirrels. Is it amazing? Besides, there are fish in the ponds and statues which are placed around the campus. What a pleasant school! • The teachers and students here are friendly and hospitable. I study hard and learn happily because my teachers teach enthusiastically. There are some parents offering assistance heartily; therefore, they become school volunteers and help the school a lot. I am delighted to study here and have a joyful school life!

  12. My School22509 朱庭毅 • My school is Fu-Shin Junior High School. It’s a very nice and beautiful place. I can study happily here. There are many sports facilities in my school. I can play baseball, basketball and soccer in my school. That’s interesting. The food in my school is delicious. I usually eat very much in the afternoon. The scenery in my school is beautiful. There are many trees, flowers and grass in it. The plants are so fascinating that lots of birds live in the trees. I always like to admire the scenery when I walk on the campus. It lets me feel comfortable. The teachers and the students here are kind and friendly. When I have questions, the teachers will teach me nicely and kindly. I can learn many things from my classmates, too. I always learn and play happily with them. I have a good time at school every day.

  13. Where Do I Live 22203 葉志揚 • Let me introduce my hometown, Tainan. Older people in Taiwan usually call it “Castle City”. The reason why it gets this special name is because it was the capital of Taiwan before. Tainan has beautiful scenery and ancient buildings. If you come to Tainan, be sure to visit the Fort Zeelandia and the Eternal Golden Castle. Those are famous buildings built by the Dutchmen. Local food is also the characteristic of Tainan. For instance, shrimp rolls, bean curd jelly, Tantze noodle soup, and coffin toast are tasty. The weather is usually hot in Tainan, except spring and winter. In summer, typhoons sometimes come and make a cool rainy day. In winter, cold currents nearly freeze the city. After my description, I’m sure you may know more about the city I live.
