The advertisement inspires the reader though a strong image and effective persuasive techniques to act upon their message. There is use of clever rhetorical questioning causing the reader to be concerned. There are also high modal words such As “must” . The image of the crab convinces us that if we as Readers don’t act – Who will? The “Clean up Australia” advertisement waseffective in persuading The reader to act now.# your task - highlight each of the sentences in a different colour
