  5. A. Possession • In Spanish, ‘s is never used. To show possession, use the following formula: • Noun + de + possessor/owner of noun • La clasedeSra. Feamster = Mrs. Feamster’s class Ejemplos • Juan’s dog = el perro de Juan • Eduardo’s father = el padre de Eduardo • Susan’s mother. = la madre de Susana. • Clara’s uncle = el tio de clara

  7. B. How old are you? • ¿Cuántos años tienes? = How old are you? • Yo tengo 15 años. = I am 15 years old.

  8. ¨How old is she?¨ • ¿Cuántos años tiene ella? = How old is she? • Ella tiene 14 años. = She is 14 years old.

  9. C. What is today´s date? • ¿Cuál es la fecha? = What is the date? • Hoy es el 8 de enero. Today is the 8th of january.
