Headboards Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Al Ain

The headboard is essentially a long piece of furniture which attaches to the bottom of a bed. Historically, they serve to isolate sleeping occupants from cold and drafts in poorly insulated buildings, and were usually made of hardwood, which was much less thermally conductive than brick or stone. However, there has been a recent trend towards what are known as headboards. These are basically small platforms or slats attached to the headboard, which can be pulled up or down for easy access to the occupants.<br>

  1. Headboards Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Al Ain :- Headboards Serve a Functional Purpose and Decorative Purposes The headboard is essentially a long piece of furniture which attaches to the bottom of a bed. Historically, they serve to isolate sleeping occupants from cold and drafts in poorly insulated buildings, and were usually made of hardwood, which was much less thermally conductive than brick or stone. However, there has been a recent trend towards what are known as headboards. These are basically small platforms or slats attached to the headboard, which can be pulled up or down for easy access to the occupants. Install a headboard There are many reasons why you might like to install a headboard in your bedroom or living room. Many people like to choose these types of fittings for the functionality they provide rather than for its aesthetic appeal. Headboards provide an extra level of support for the back, ensuring that your spine stays in alignment during the night. They also prevent your head from getting pressed up against a cold wall or cold bedding, allowing for maximum airflow to circulate around your head. By providing the right amount of support and insulation for your body, headboards have a dual purpose which can greatly enhance the appearance of your bedroom or living room, but also help to alleviate some of the problems associated with sleep apnea. More technologically advanced Headboards have also traditionally been chosen for their functional purpose, adding functionality to a bedroom or living room by providing a resting area for guests or family. With modern beds becoming more aesthetically pleasing and more technologically advanced, many times the function of headboards has been lost in favor of being more appealing. However, with the correct selection and arrangement of these functional accessories, a headboard can provide the perfect accent to a room's aesthetic look. Decorative accents such as mirrors As mentioned earlier, Headboards are typically chosen for their aesthetic value, as opposed to their functionality. While this is true for many people, in order to ensure that you get the most out of your headboard purchase, it is important to keep in mind what exactly your needs are when selecting a headboard. For example, if you plan on using the headboard as a sleeping aid, you will want to find a style and design that are complementary to your bed and a room's decor. For example, if you have an opulent, Tiffany inspired interior, choosing a headboard with ornate carvings and elaborate panels would not be the best choice for a guest bed. While the interior of a guest bed may seem like an excellent choice, it could become the focal point of the room, taking up valuable wall space that could be used for other furniture, or decorative accents such as mirrors. If you do have a Tiffany inspired interior, but are also looking to match your headboard to other pieces of furniture and accessories in your bedroom, a simpler, but equally attractive option would be to purchase a headboard with a similar frame design to the bed.

  2. Traditional themed bedroom or cottage Headboards come in a variety of sizes, styles, material types, colors, and finishes. The most popular materials for Headboards are wood and metal. Wood is a classic and timeless choice, often representing elegance and class. Metal Headboards are becoming more popular in contemporary bedroom designs. Metal frames can come in different finishes, including polished chrome, antique brass, brushed nickel, and several other types of finishes. While metal headboards are usually good choices for bedrooms with an upscale, sophisticated, or modern flair, they might not be a good choice for a traditional themed bedroom or cottage. Headboards serve a number of purposes in the home. They provide a decorative and functional purpose, and in many cases act as both a functional and an aesthetic piece. Because they can be made from a number of different materials, headboards serve as decorative additions to a room, or they can serve a functional purpose such as serving as a bed. abudhabiupholstery.com Call Us For FREE APPOINTMENT To Check Out Our PVC And Vinyl Flooring Solutions !!
