  11. Where We Think We Are Going • Vision: For the CRC to be a denomination in which young adults are equipped, encouraged, and empowered to use their gifts in the church and kingdom by serving God and loving others.

  12. Where We Think We Are Going • Priority #1: To build networks and relationships with young adults and the appropriate organizations in which aspiring young adult leaders commonly congregate and are developed.

  13. Where We Think We Are Going • Priority #2: Provide opportunities for training for both young adults and churches that seek to minister to and with them.

  14. Where We Think We Are Going • Priority #3: Generate support both institutionally and in the local church by persuading people to ‘buy in’ to the ideals of the Leadership Exchange as well as the importance of the involvement and leadership development of young adults for service in the church and kingdom.

  15. Where We Think We Are Going • Strategy • Generate awareness at the local and denominational levels of the challenges and opportunities of ministering to and with young adults. • Equip churches and individuals to more successfully minister to and with young adults.

  16. Where We Think We Are Going • Create environments, opportunities, relationships, and experiences in which young adults can grow and develop to lead in the church and kingdom.

  17. Where We Think We Are Going • Opportunities • Leadership training and spiritual retreats in collaboration with Calvin College, Trinity, Dordt, and Redeemer. • Young adult leadership conference in Summer of 2011. • Young adult leadership summit in conjunction with Synod 2012.
