  5. Case 1- testing • Common core? • Focus 2000? • FCAT • NCLB? (I FAILED 3RD GRADE, KIDS FAILING CORE) • MARZANO (I CAN SCALE) • HOW THE STUDENT DOES IS HOW MUCH THE TEACHER IS WORTH IN $$? (FALSE) • STRESS • COMPUTER • TEACHING TO THE TEST? • TESTS ARE NOT THE FUTURE OF TEXTBOOK.

  6. Case 2- transportation • STUDNETS WHO LIVE NEAR A BUS STOP are denied bus services • Kids who live closer to school get on bus • Kids who have no other mean of transport are forced to walk hazardous conditions • Is this a bully tactic?

  7. Case 3- scheduling • The logic: • Straight 8 • 7 classes • 1 period is lunch • 30 minute teacher lunch • 20 minute teacher duty • 50 minute student lunch

  8. Straight 7 • Loss a planning period as compared to rotator 7 • 50 minute periods • 6 passing • 35 minutes lunch • Not enough time • Crunching ( school is not a crunch bar)

  12. Case 4- loss of electives (indiviuality) • Budget???? • testing based? • Electives are meant to express yourself, not sit infront of a computer completing online work? • Are students robots? Are teachers machine? • If you answered no, then A+ for you students are humans so are teachers.

  17. Schools aren’t prisons • VOICE • TEACHERS ARE ENSLAVED • THE UNIQUENESS OF SCHOOLS IS BEING STOLEN. • TEACHERS ARE ROBBED OF VALUEABLE INTERACTION. • CHEATED OF CLASS BREAK ( NO VENDING MACHINE BETWEEN BELLS) • BELITTLEMENT OF STUDENTS • AS I CALL “ THE BABIES ACT” • Favoritism
