System Overview • The Kaypro A1200 is the replacement for the A1100 • The A1200 supports Hyper-Threading Pentium 4 processors with 800MHz front side bus (FSB) • The A1200 is a three spindle Pentium 4 class notebook with a 15.0” display • It uses the SiS 661FX chipset and is powered by DDR266/333 memory with up to 1GB max • Uses shared video memory architecture, up to 64MB • Flexible dual view support for simultaneous LCD and CRT output

Target Market • The target market of the Kaypro A1200 is the education, home, or business market segment that wants an affordable yet powerful and expandable notebook • The Kaypro A1200 is a viable desktop replacement since it can scale up to P4/3.0GHz and 1GB of memory • The A1200 brings Hyper-Threading and 800FSB performance to a notebook level • This notebook is intended for users who want the mobility and convenience of a notebook without giving up the performance of a high-end desktop
