  2. Please stand for the pledge: I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

  3. Please remain standing for the Texas Pledge: Honor the Texas flag: I pledge allegiance to thee Texas, one state, under God, one and Indivisible. Please be seated for a moment of silence

  4. Return ALL Library books All books must be returned to the Library by this Friday, 5/16/2014. If you have returned a book late, please stop by the library and pay your late fee.

  5. Don’t be left out this May!Buy your yearbook today! $31 Gets you a yearbook, a jeans pass, and admission to the end-of-the-year yearbook signing party! Yearbooks are only available online, so don’t wait until it’s too late!! Go to www.balfour.com and search Dueitt!

  6. MORNING PROCEDURES A few reminders about the morning • All students must have their i.d. out and on upon entering the school building each and every day. By the time you go to breakfast, you need to have their i.d. on around their neck. • If you need one, you may stop at the i.d. table and then go to breakfast or your gym afterwards. Students may not put their breakfast in their backpacks to eat in class later. • All students' pants must fit securely at the waist. If the pants are too big, wear a belt!!!

  7. Student Council • Student Council will not meet today, May 14, after school. • There will be a mandatory meeting next Wednesday, May 21 to finish our end of the year plannings. Be sure to come then and see Ms. Barton if you have any questions!

  8. Congratulations Choir! Our Concert and Intermediate Girls Choirs received top scores at the Kids in the Park Choir Competition! • Concert Girls also Received an Outstanding Performance Trophy! • We enjoyed our Trophies at the Kemah Boardwalk last friday!

  9. "please join the band for their spring concert, TONIGHT at Spring HS at 7:00 pm" "if you are still interested in joining band please join us at our last instrument drive this Tuesday at 4:45pm in the bandhall. All 6th and 7th graders are invited to come and try instruments to join band"
