Cal Am Mfg. is a manufacturer of high-quality electrical and broadband fittings serving the industry for over 35 years. We offer a broad line of molded rubber and plastic fittings for today’s underground conduit raceway systems, existing 4G networks and emerging 5G networks. We are pleased to announce the divestiture of our irrigation product-line, machinery and tooling to T.B.S. Irrigation Inc., a long-term customer of Cal Am. T.B.S. has been serving the irrigation industry since its inception and is headquartered in El Cajon, CA. The decision to divest the irrigation side of our business is to focus on the core strategic direction in underground electrical and broadband fittings. The sale includes a variety of injection molded products that serve distributors catering to business and residential landscaping projects, including hose thread fittings, swing risers, threaded elbows, and risers, all in a variety of sizes. Bob Arnold, President of Cal Am, stated that “Though the irrigation products have seen steady sales growth, underground electrical and broadband fittings is our key focus going forward. T.B.S. makes a perfect match for the irrigation product-line and their customer base. This full line of quality irrigation products and tooling is the perfect acquisition for their business model.
