  2. Cow Cells • These are cow red blood cells.

  3. All Living Things have Cells • These are cow brain cells.

  4. Reproduce THE MOM COW AND THE DAD COW SHARE THERE THINGS LIKE THE BABY COW WILL HAVE SOME STUFF WITH THE MOM COW AND SOME STUFF WITH THE DAD COW.

  5. How calves inherit traits from their parents. • Calves inherit traits from their parents like their color, if they are mean or nice, their eye color. They inherit their sex from the father.

  6. How to respond to the environment. • If they don`t have shelter they will huddle closer together so that they get warm. • If they have shelter they will go in the shelter. • If the mother had a calf and someone comes near or threatens the calf the mother will either take you or charge you. • In the winter their hair grows to keep them warm.

  7. OBTAIN THE USE OF ENERGY AND NUTRIANS ALL ORGANISMS REQUIRE ENERGY TO LIVE. COWS GET THERE ENERGY FROM GRASS, HAY, AND GRAINS.

Maintaining a stable environment • Maintaining a stable environment is called Homeostasis. • Homeostasis works to maintain body temperature for warm blooded animals, and humans. • Cows are mammals so that means that they are warm blooded. • Cows stay warm in the winter by huddling together in a field, they also eat more to make extra heat. • Cows stay cool in the summer because cows don`t sweat, they find shady areas to stand or lay down in, they drink lots of water, and sometimes they go for a swim in the water.
