  3. PURPOSE & OBJECTIVES # Publish and promote the Statutes and Principles. # Control the game, from an international perspective, in all countries and continents. # Promote and popularise Badminton worldwide. # Support and encourage the development of Badminton as a sport for all.

CONT……….. # Encourage the formation of new Members, strengthen the bonds between Members and resolve disputes between Members. # Organise,conduct and present world Badminton events to worldclass standards. # Maintain an Anti-Doping Programme and ensure compliance with the WADA Code. # Engage in commercial activities that give direct benefits to the sport .

  7. ASSOCIATE MEMBERS Clubs / Organisatios Para-Badminton Organisations

Associate Membership of the Federation is open to:- • # clubs or organisations trying form national badminton organisation in territory where no national Badminton organisation recognized by Federation. • # clubs or organisations trying to form national Badminton organisation in territory that not yet recognized by international community. • # clubs or organisations which are exclusively for Para-Badminton players and who are not affiliated to a Member.

  10. ANNUAL GENRAL MEETING • An AGM shall be held not later than 31 July of each year in a place as may be decided by Council following notice given in accordance with Clause.

  13. COUNCIL structure • An AGM shall appoint a Council which have administrative powers to carry on work of Federation b/w AGMs. Council shall consists of:-

COUNCIL ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES The role of Council includes:- # Taking such steps as may be necessary to achieve the purposes and objectives # Upholding and ensuring the observance of Statutes # Ensuring the execution of decisions taken by any General Meeting # Establishing the duties of individual members of Council and appointing the Committees and Commissions

CONT…………… • Determining Regulations, Codes, Guidelines and other rules not under the competence of General Meeting • Deciding on matters under dispute • maintenance of proper standards in the organization of federation • Appointing the Chairs of Committees and Commissions • Registering and administrating the use of the Federation logo • Appointing the Doping Hearing Panel

Executive board * The Federation shall have : - # An Executive Board comprising the Officers. # The Chairs of the committees formed by Council. * Duty of Executive Board is to make decisions b/w Council Meetings as delegated by Council. * The Meeting Procedures for Council apply to the Executive Board.
