  3. Introduction Firedog Services, located inside Circuit City stores, provides an all-in-one solution for computer services, home theatre installation, and mobile electronics. Started in October of 2006 Over 600 Locations Nation-Wide
  4. My history with the company Started with Circuit City in August of 2005 Been in several positions, from Senior computer sales associate, to car audio sales associate. Have been Lead Technician since July of 2007
  5. My job responsibilities Responsible for advanced diagnostic and repair of PC’s Responsible for setting up new PC’s Responsible for warranty repair of desktops and laptops. Responsible for teaching and training other associates Mentored associates to push the services brand Sell computers during a “Hot Floor” scenario
  6. A regular day at work Arrive at work anywhere from 8 – 10 AM Call customers whose computers are completed and awaiting pickup Check the work bench and maintain operational standards Answer the telephone / Deal with customers Work on computers Sell, Sell, Sell, Sell Communicate to my relief any issues and what needs to get done
  7. What I like about my job I work with all my friends My managers / supervisors are awesome Pays well, with second best health insurance plan in the country second to Microsoft. Discounton electronics Meeting new people Learn new things every day Flexibility, able to work full time and go to school full time.
  8. What I don’t like about my job Managers can sometimes be down your back Pay is good, but for the experience I have I could make much more elsewhere. Hours, during the school year my weekends are pretty much booked with work It’s retail, and Circuit City is slowly going down hill Work often goes unappreciated
  9. Internship Experience Gave me experience in the following areas: Leadership Problem Solving Dealing with people Communicating to customers Communicating to management, Store level or corporate level
