Also promotes regional vacancies, matching and placement activities.

  4. Youth services (1): • Labour market relevant career counseling for secondary vocational education students (at VMBO level) • Provision of career choice testing • Provision of coaching for unemployed young people without formal qualifications back to school • Matching and placement of the youth in “BBL” apprenticeships (1 day/week school 4 day’s/week on the job learning) • Support for young people during the obligatory job search period of 4 weeks when Social Security benefit/assistance is requested • Organisation of workshops for unemployed young people without qualifications but who do have unemployment benefit entitlements

  5. Youth services (2): • Referral of young people who require specialist support from for example social workers • Steering young people’s choices towards educational projects organised by employers • Encouragement and placement of the youth unable to attain formal qualifications (eg. Training centre Entrée)

  6. Employers’ services: • Information and advice surrounding subsidised work(eg. taxation benefits when hiring employees with special needs WVA, LKS) • Encouragement of registration with PES / UWV WERKbedrijf to attain subsidies • Organisation of network meetings between the triple helix (Education-Government-Businesses) • Matching and placement of young people during work to work transitions

  7. Compulsory education up until 18 years • VS agreement • Transition from secondary education to middle-level vocational education • Truancy management • ZAT consultation
