WHY ME! I’M GOING TO BE LATE TO SCHOOL. CHANGING A FLAT TIRE. USUALLY YOUR FLAT TIRE WILL BE AFTER YOU HAVE PARKED OVERNIGHT HAPPENS WHEN YOU CAN’T BE LATE FOR THE MORNING. FLAT TIRE. IF YOU HAVE A BLOW OUT WHILE DRIVING, DON’T PANIC! BRING THE CAR TO A SAFE STOP. PULL OFF THE ROAD

  1. WHY ME! I’M GOING TO BE LATE TO SCHOOL CHANGING A FLAT TIRE

  2. USUALLY YOUR FLAT TIRE WILL BE AFTER YOU HAVE PARKED OVERNIGHT HAPPENS WHEN YOU CAN’T BE LATE FOR THE MORNING FLAT TIRE IF YOU HAVE A BLOW OUT WHILE DRIVING, DON’T PANIC! BRING THE CAR TO A SAFE STOP. PULL OFF THE ROAD IN A SAFE FLAT PLACE IF POSSIBLE TURN ON HAZARD FLASHERS

  3. SET PARKING BRAKE BLOCK AT LEAST ONE TIRE OPPOSITE OF THE FLAT

  4. IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHERE THESE ARE AT, LOOK IN YOUR OWNERS MANUAL IF YOU DON’T HAVE AN OWNERS MANUAL LOOK IN THE TRUNK OR UNDER THE HOOD USUALLY THERE WILL BE INSTRUCTIONS WITH PICTURES ON HOW TO USE THE JACK FIND YOUR JACK AND SPARE TIRE

  5. IF EQUIPPED, REMOVE THE HUB CAP MOST YOU HAVE TO PRY OFF SOME ARE LOCKED ON KEY USUALLY IN GLOVE BOX REMOVING THE WHEEL COVER HUB CAP KEY

  6. REMOVE JACK AND SPARE TIRE

  7. GET TOOLS SUPPLIED TO REMOVE FLAT

  8. POSITION JACK IN PROPER POSITION, RAISE ONLY A LITTLE

  9. LOOSEN ALL LUG NUTS

  10. RAISE JACK UNTIL TIRE IS OFF THE GROUND, REMOVE ALL LUG NUTS

  11. REMOVE FLAT USE CARE NOT TO PUT LEGS UNDER RAISED CAR

  12. THERE IS THE REASON FOR THE FLAT

  13. INSTALL SPARE

  14. SNUG DOWN NUTS

  15. LOWER JACK UNTIL TIRE TOUCHES THE GROUND

  16. FINISH TIGHTENING THE LUG NUTS

  17. ONLY A LITTLE LATE

  18. INSTALL FLAT BACK INTO TRUNK AND SECURE

  19. OFF TO SCHOOL I WILL ONLY BE 10 MINUTES LATE

  20. QUESTIONS?

  21. SO YOU CAN LEARN HOW, WE WILL HAVE YOU INFLATE THE FLAT TO PROPER PRESSURE

  22. LOOK ON SIDE-WALL OF TIRE AND NEVER EXCEED THE MAXIMUM PRESSURE

  23. JACK BACK UP CAR AND REMOVE SPARE

  24. REINSTALL TIRE AND WHEEL REMEMBER DON’T PUT YOU LEGS UNDER CAR

  25. SNUG DOWN LUG NUTS

  26. LOWER JACK SOME AND TORQUE LUG NUTS TO 80 FT. LBS.

  27. REMOVE JACK & PUT TOOLS BACK IN CAR PROPERLY

  28. SHOW INSTRUCTOR TO MAKE HIM SMILEANSWER ANY OF HIS QUESTIONS.

  29. PROPERLY INSTALL SPARE AND JACK BACK INTO CAR

  30. IF YOU HAVE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE, YOU JUST LEARNED A NEW SKILL YOU CAN USE THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.
