FAQs

Can I do a MedScholars during clerkships?

yes, but you must have time in your schedule with no clerkships (i.e. you must have periods free from clerkships)

If I have funding from another source, can I combine it with MedScholars?

1) if the other funding source is agreeable to sharing all research and publications/presentations with Stanford University Medical Scholars program

2) the funding will supplement your outside source

(ex. 100% MS = $9,650…$3,000 from AHA + $6,650 from MedScholars)

Travel scholars

Travel Scholars

We will go more in depth about the

Travel Scholars program on

Thursday, November 3rd at noon.

The key to know is that Travel Scholars applications

take more time to review & be fully approved,

thus the applications are requested to be submitted

two deadlines before intended travel quarter.
