Advantages • Elementary school teacher: - Benefits such as health insurance and retirement savings, which are often hard to come by in today's job market. - knowing that you are making a difference. - opportunity to share your passion and foster it in others. • Chef and dinner cooks: - trained and schooled in the finer arts of cooking. - know many more techniques and have more refined skills. - make your own meals and prepare foods very well.

School course of this career • Elementary school teacher school courses: - have a high school diploma or GED - have at least a bachelors degree - complete an approved teacher training program - complete a student teacher internship - pass a state licensing exam • Chef and Dinner cooks - have a high school diploma or GED - complete formal training - complete on-the-job training - have a good sense of taste and smell - have the ability to work as part of a team

Chef and Dinner cooks • Chef and dinner cooks is the best choice for me because, being in a culinary art business is what I am going after for my full time career. • Being a cook is something fun I will be good at I have been taking culinary art classes starting my freshman year now I am planning to go to a Culinary Art Institute to know more techniques. • My goal is to become a professional chef/cook and then own my own business it will take time but I will get there.
