New car engines • Most of the newer cars can go from zero to sixty miles an hour in four seconds. • Some of the new cars get almost 50 miles to a gallon. • The more speed the car the is the more gas it will guzzle down. • Some cars now-a-days have a eco friendly gas system. Meaning they get more miles per gallon and can drive from emporia almost down Missouri and still have a quarter tank of gas left.

  3. Older car engines • All the cars got relatively the same speed back in the olden-days. • Most of the cars back then were really bad gas guzzlers and didn’t get very many miles. • If you go even further back in time the cars or wagons were pulled by horses, they didn’t run off of gas.
