  2. Getters: • Collect your group’s dish from the evaporation tray • Collect your group’s bin

  3. Observations • Look at the salt crystals with your hand lens. • What shape do you see? • What pattern do you see?

  4. Questions • What happened when the saltwater solution evaporated? • What is the material in the dish? • What happened to the water that was in the mixture? • Does the salt look the same as it did originally?
