  6. Reflection • We must hold on to our students • We have to keep delivering our instructional best in the classroom, and we must expect more from our students

  7. GOAL 1 • Improve literacy and build mathematical skills • Use of research-based instructional strategies • Journal Writing • Accountable Talk • Pacing guides and common assessments aligned with district periodic assessments • Uniform implementation of periodic assessments in all core areas • A rigorous and relevant instructional program

  8. GOAL 2 • Small Learning Communities • Strengthen and refine the implementation of SLC’s to promote personalization for all students • Develop relevant curriculum for advisory periods and use consistently school wide • Expand the implementation of Learning Teams

GOAL 3 • Professional Development • Develop a focused protocol for teacher collaboration • Train teachers in the use of student data analysis tools to be used in vertical and horizontal team collaboration • Develop a PD monitoring system to ensure that the application of what is learned in PD is implemented successfully in the classroom

  10. GOAL 4 • Parent Involvement • Continue outreach efforts to parents of all students • Provide activities and opportunities for workshops as requested by parents • Continue utilizing frequent distribution of newsletters and information relevant to parents’ interest
