  1. North America’s Racial Segregation on Mexican Immigration By: Anne Norman

  2. What was my overall original claim? • My overall claim in the paper was to show the racial segregation amongst the Immigrant workers in the United States by showing how they were constantly being thrown around to where the government wanted them and when they were done working, they were deported right away. The citizens in America treated not only the workers, but their children poorly as well by segregating them from other children of White descent.

  3. What were my research questions? • Why were Mexicans segregated in the United States? • Why did American people blame Mexicans? • What type of racial segregation happened in the United States? • How did the Mexicans react to the segregation?

  4. What did I learn from conducting my own research? • What I learned from conducting my own research is that Mexicans wanted to come to the United States for more opportunities. • When they got here, they were shown no respect and were blamed for many things including War and the economy’s suffrage.
